Staging 101

When you sell with me, I make sure your home is staged perfectly.

Helping buyers envision themselves living there is the key to getting you the top dollar sale price! There are many things to consider when staging, for example —

• Who is the target market for this style of home?

• What does that market tend to lean towards style wise?

• Location

Three Basic Staging Rules for Sellers

1. Personal Items - gotta go!

Family photos etc. We want the buyers to be able to envision their family living there. I suggest taking these personal items and tucking them away pre-showing.

2. Neutral Colours

You might love all things purple, but not everyone does - it’s important that the decor does not distract potential buyers from the features of the home.

3. Less is more

Declutter! Give your potential buyers a nice clean slate to help them envision how they would live there.
